Jig Workshop 1.10.0 My Jigs and Learning Content

Release date: 14/09/2020

  • Your Jigs now get organised into “My Jigs” and “Shared with me” categories so you can easily tell the ones you made from the ones shared with you from a team member or another user via Jig Workshop Pro.

  • You can collapse or expand these menus to suit you.

  • Video learning resources and customer case studies can now be watched and followed from inside the apps.

  • We added a button in the main screen’s “Settings” panel to view the latest news in case you missed it.

Jig Workshop 1.10.1 - In-App Purchases and Gesture Improvements

  • We reworked our two-finger pan gesture Two-Finger Pan icon - now it’s really smooth and reliable!

  • You can now subscribe to Jig Pro via Apple in-app purchase! We’re giving everyone a 14 day free trial so if you think this can help you get more out of Jig Workshop, give it a try.

  • If you wish to add multiple users to your account and use our team sharing features, you will need to subscribe via our website.

  • General performance improvements.

Jig Workshop 1.10.3 - In-App Subscription Improvements

Release date: 27/10/2020

  • What an incredible week! The abnormally high number of people using the app has highlighted a couple of areas for quick improvement and some sneaky bugs, so this a quick update to fix them.

  • When you subscribe to Jig Pro via Apple in-app purchases you can now choose a team or organisation name which synchronises across all your devices.

  • If you try Pro on a free trial via Apple in-app purchase you can now can re-subscribe after cancelling or expiring.

  • If you skipped the tutorial at the wrong time the app would be uncontrollable, now you’re free to leave whenever you like.

  • A few other minor fixes around importing 3D models.

  • Some icons were the wrongs size, misplaced, or the wrong color. Now everything is consistent.

Jig Workshop 1.10.4 - 3D File Upload Improvements

Release date: 25/11/2020

  • You can now cancel a CAD model during upload or processing. This is useful if you are loading a large files and change your mind or need to cancel due to slow internet speeds.

  • The user experience of adding your own CAD models to Jigs now loads much faster :racing_car:

  • Lots of bug fixes with selecting objects, gizmos being in the wrong place, objects moving slightly when replicating in blue mode :toolbar_objectmode:

  • Performance improvements to memory usage :smile:

  • UI fixes for iPhone 11 and 12.

How to update your apps

  • Update your iPhone or iPad apps from the AppStore - if they are not automatically set to update.

  • Pro users need to manually update Windows or MacOS desktop apps via the Jig Dashboard.
