I am able to move a body along straight lines. Is it possible to move them (animate) along curves ?

Animating along curves is not currently possible in Jig Workshop. Animation is created from the transition between two steps that move the object from one point in space to another (currently in a straight line).
It is something we have been asked before, so stay tuned and we’ll let you know if it gets bumped up the queue.
